Million Dollar Quartet Rocks the Apollo Theater

They were Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis, later dubbed the Million Dollar Quartet. If that sounds like your glass of whiskey, head to the Apollo Theater on Lincoln Avenue and catch a one-of-a-kind show packed with some real stage and music talent.

Dan Auerbach Rocks the Metro

Touring to promote his solo album, Keep it Hid, it was quickly apparent that Auerbach is going to have wild success outside of The Black Keys. The set included just about every song from the solo album, a combination of blues, rock, pop and even reggae beats. It's something you won't hear from any other artist. The Sam Roberts Band Rocks Beat Kitchen

Celebrating Local Musicians at the Chicago Music Awards

It was a celebration, not only of Chicago's finest musicians, but of a new era in United States history. The atmosphere was nothing short of joyous as a packed house settled in for a night of entertainment, reflection and hope, in honor of President Barack Obama.
